Dr. Karen Bochnak graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry with her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Bochnak also completed extensive studies to be certified in Ocular Disease and Therapeutics from the University of Waterloo, and Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.

Dr. Bochnak diligently provides comprehensive eye examinations for children, adult and senior patients.  There is always a focus on detecting early signs of ocular diseases such as dry eyes, meibomian gland dysfunction, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and retinopathy. Changes seen in the health of the eyes can occur from systemic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and sleep apnea.  Utmost importance is also given to each patient's visual system to ensure that they are able to have the clearest, most comfortable vision possible.
